Hunting Seals
Over the last 10 years people have been killing seals for food and clothing especially the pups. The pups are endangered from the hunters killing them. They then skin them and then send the skins to a factory and then being made into nice woolly clothes. The adult seals are being killed mostly for their meat. If this continues the seals will become extinct.

MS Read-a-thon
This month is the month of the MS Read-a-thon. We will be reading books and raising money for the people with Multiple Sclerosis. We have to get sponsers to donate the money to us. We got two new books from the man that gave us a talk about MS.
Our Wetlands Excursion

Kinder and Year One went to the Wetlands on a bus. We went to the theatre and Doc talked about what we might see that day. We had morning tea after the theatre. After morning tea we had some activities. The activities were called dipnetting and canoeing. My class went into a classroom where there were microscopes, a TV scope, puppets and tweezers to make a nest. There was a bit of snake skin as well. Morgan and I got cameras.

Matthew Poulsen Learning Center Opening
On the 26th May we celebrated because it was the Opening of the Matthew Poulsen Learning Centre. We had a liturgy and some people did some readings. I had to make a speech about what it means to me to be a student a St Patrick's Lochinvar. I talked about learning and I said a little about Matt. The liturgy was very respectful and the chior was great at singing the songs.
